OK George time for an "atta boy". This morning I took my Empire Express Grade 375 H&H to the range to ready for a Brown Bear Hunt. I shot a three shot group that I could cover with the tab from my soda can. It was hard to see all three but I could. The ammo was supplied by Superior Ammunition 300 grain Swift A Frame. Extremely satisfied. Can't wait to get my 300 H&H, was that it on the cover of the Sports Afield? You have voted with your orders! Sales of the Standard Rifle so outstrip the Legacy Rifle, we are adding the short action version of the Standard Rifle and discontinuing the Legacy. My 416 Rigby is so accurate it's scary and the 300 shoots one hole groups. The fit and finish is perfect and I love the matte coating they use. I prefer a controlled feed rifle for all my hunting and consider it a must for dangerous game. . . [although the prices have increased over time] they are a bargain. Good morning George, I just want to send you [an] update on the Empire .270 Win. I just shot my 1200th round with my rifle and it preformed flawlessly. I have shot from 100yds. to 600yds. and the rifle will shoot half MOA all day long. I have taken numerous deer and hogs with the rifle and it performs just as well in the field as on the bench. I feel that this action is bullet proof. I have never had a feeding malfunction in 1200 shots and have worked the action 4,000 to 5,000 times. Hi George. I just returned from Wyoming where I took a nice eight point whitetail. I received glowing compliments on your rifle from everyone in camp in regard to performance on the range and looks. George: Just thought you might like to see what the rifle did at the range
yesterday [with] Federal Premium 180 gr. Vital Shok ammo. The top group was 3
rounds at 100 yards. It measures just a quarter inch from center to center! The
second group was adjusted slightly for windage, and was 5 rounds at 100 yards.
Not counting the flier — which wasn't my fault, because some idiot had an
accidental discharge behind the firing line, and I flinched — the group opened
up to just 3/8 inch center to center for 4 shots! I'm impressed! Larry L

Hi George, just returned from a two week safari in South Africa where I used my Empire 375 H & H for everything from a 1700 lb eland to a steenbok. Although I had another rifle along, I used the Empire exclusively; and needless to say, it performed flawlessly.
