EMPIRE SHIPS OF THE LINE: .50 CALIBER DANGEROUS GAME RIFLES

Given the special nature of the .50 caliber dangerous game rifle, each is named after a famous warship, typically ship-of-the-line class (First, Second, and Third Rate ships, plus modern Battleships and Cruisers).

The maiden rifle is a .500 Jeffery "HMS Dreadnought", of which the crest reads: "Fear God, and Dread Nought".

The name of each rifle is inscribed below the wood, but can also be engraved in plain view.

Medium bore dangerous game rifles may on request be named after cruisers and frigates.

Examples of names given to date include HMS Dreadnought; HMS Repulse; USS Merrimack; USS Alaska; DKM Prinz Eugen and SMS Seydlitz.

Please call Empire Rifles, 603.469.3152 for details.

The following list of Battleships was compiled by R. Hamilton. Names already in use on an Empire Rifle are indicated by an asterisk.
